Sentosa Flower Fest is a very popular place where families go during Chinese New Year. I have been there before, but in 2012, I was shocked to see Sentosa filled with Foreign workers.
The rain did not help either. There was a queue for shelter, and more foreign talents directing foreign workers into the shelters. There was plenty of incompetence involved as there seems to be much of a language barrier when Indian or Chinese tourists asks staff of the wrong race, and followed the queue to the wrong place.
I guess it should not be a surprise as Singaporeans have to pay to go to the casinos where their maids get in free.
